1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 502
It was restored to a nice standard in 2005 and has been with the same owner since 2006, who has put about 5,000 miles on it during his ownership.
The restoration included a quality repaint in PPG black with red stripes, new interior, new moldings, re-chromed bumpers, new front and rear glass, brake and suspension rebuild and much more. A GM crate 502 ci V8 (450 hp) and new Turbo 400 transmission were installed along with 3-inch exhaust, headers, and a Holley carburetor. This is an A/C car and has a working cowl induction hood. 3.07 Positraction rear end.
It has been garage kept as part of a collection but shown and driven regularly in nice weather -- overall the restoration has held up nicely with only a few small paint flaws. It runs and drives great -- the big block 502 makes gobs of torque and sounds fantastic.
